Hi, I offer an editing service for self-published books. My aim is to make your copy correct in terms of spelling, punctuation and grammar, and easy to read. I also look at things such as plot construction, paragraph flow and logic, characterisation and consistency, etc.
In all of this, it is important to keep the author's voice.
I am happy to work in UK or US English, and I can provide a one-page sample edit for free, so you can see how I work before booking me.
I am also a layout sub editor/production editor with more than 20 years' experience of working on magazines. I am able to work from home or travel to an office in London.
I have a degree in English, a diploma in copywriting and a diploma in publishing production.
